More limited edition confusion, the catalogue says 50 of each colour and lists 3 colours, Black, Aged Vintage White and Chocolate 3 Colour Sunburst. However the Vault lists 2 additional colours Lake Placid Blue and Candy Tangerine so presumably 250 guitars made, but who can be sure.

American Vintage 64 Telecaster 011-1000

Not a custom shop model but an AVRI in 800 3 colour sunburst 801 Aged white blonde or 802 Lake Placid Blue 2012 release In 2014 LPB was replaced by CAR. In 2015 only Aged white blonde was available until the guitar was discontinued in 2017
The Fender Blurb
1964 was a monumental year for popular music and a pivotal year for the Telecaster, too, as seen in the American Vintage ‘64 Telecaster. The thicker maple necks of the ‘50s and early ‘60s now gave way to a more rounded C-shaped profile, this time topped with a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with larger pearl dot inlays. Other vintage-accurate touches include a lightweight alder body (ash on White Blonde model), staggered bridge pickup pole magnets, threaded steel “barrel” bridge saddles, three-ply white pickguard with eight holes, top-hat switch tip, flat-top knurled chrome control knobs and more.
Body: Alder (all coloured versions), Ash (Aged White Blonde) NCL
Neck: Maple, Mid 60s C Shape (Flash Coat Lacquer)
